NSBKA: Sunday August 1st Picnic & Bring and Buy at Whixall Village Hall 13.00 onwards

Bring food, drinks and a picnic blanket and find yourself a sunny spot at Whixall Village Hall on Sunday August 1st from 13:00 to 15:30. This social event is for NSBKA members and their friends and families. There won’t be refreshments available so bring all you need.

There will also be a bring and buy so a great opportunity to pick up a bargain or sell anything you’d like to that is loosely bee related (bee equipment / plants / homemade items / jams, honey, cakes etc). Tables will be available for items you would like to sell.

There will also be a practical demonstration of how to set up an Asian Hornet bait station using Sutera. Sutera is an acknowledged attractant for wasps and hornets. It has a special ingredient that makes it unattractive to honey bees. There will also be some available to be provided to members.
