Bees colour vision is among the fastest in the animal world. It is five times faster than humans. Whereas we have trouble distinguishing one flower in a group from another, bees dont, they see each individual flower.Bees have five eyes - two compound eyes and three tiny ocelli eyes
The Association maintains an apiary at an organic farm in North Shropshire. We hold regular meetings at the apiary during the summer, where members old and new can gain experience in handling bees.
